Who we are:
This position will be part of Equity Derivatives IT team in Global Banking and Markets Division. The US Equity Derivatives technology group spans the globe and services all client areas within the bank for Equities-related services. Curiosity and a growth mindset driven by continuous learning are key values within our team.

Context Store is a Data Engine for Equities IT. It ‘s application that collects data from stocks markets and transfers it to internal systems. This allows clients to invest and seed progress on their investments.

Teams are working in pods of 4-6 developers and cooperating with colleagues based in UK, Poland and China.

Cloud based – Google Cloud Platform, current migration to Microservices (Kubernetes)

70% development, 30 maintenance

The POD is responsible for ensuring all global databases are listed completely and accurately, including the various data points needed to ensure complete inventory. The database inventory is pinnacle to uplift various controls. The tool consists of MSSQL back-end database, with web service allowing services related to database management.

As part of the team your interactions will be with team members in UK, Poland and India with internal users across the globe. Duties will cover customer engagement support and fulfilment, engineering and support, driving automation, performance, availability and value from the product. Upskilling to support these outcomes is supported and encouraged.
