Description
We are seeking a highly motivated BIM / VDC Coordinator based in Poland to lead BIM coordination for complex building and infrastructure projects across the United States. This role requires close collaboration with U.S.-based clients and project teams, with regular participation in meetings during U.S. working hours (overlapping critical working hours -> at least to 10 pm CET).
As a key member of our global VDC team, you will drive model coordination, lead trade collaboration efforts, and implement advanced BIM/VDC processes across the project lifecycle — from design through construction and handover.

Responsibilities
- Lead BIM/VDC coordination for U.S.-based building and infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on construction-phase coordination.
- Manage and run MEP trade coordination meetings, including clash detection, issue tracking, and resolution workflows.
- Act as the primary coordination point between U.S. clients, contractors, designers, and internal teams.
- Present coordination progress, findings, and solutions to U.S. stakeholders during virtual meetings.
- Ensure VDC processes are implemented from early design stages through construction and project closeout.
- Identify and implement workflow efficiencies to support continuous improvement internally and for project teams.
- Oversee model quality control, model federation, and data consistency across disciplines.
- Support global collaboration by working closely with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and training initiatives to strengthen BIM/VDC best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in BIM/VDC coordination, including implementation and project support.
- Proven experience leading MEP trade coordination on construction projects.
- Experience working with or supporting a General Contractor (field or office environment preferred).
- Strong understanding of U.S. construction documentation standards.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Solid knowledge of major building systems: structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty systems.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level or higher), including experience participating in client-facing meetings.
- Excellent Polish skills to communicate with the local team members.
- Willingness and availability to work aligned with U.S. time zones. The typical timezone would be 8AM CST-5PM CST, but there may be a time variance of +/- 1 hour depending on the timezone of the projects. We do not expect that employee to be available the entire time, but preferably at least up to 10 pm CET.
