Mondly, our Romania-based client, tasked us with an intricate hiring project. This project required us to locate a highly qualified candidate for the position of Senior Full-stack Developer with expertise in Yii2, Ember.js, and AWS. The challenge was heightened by the client’s limited budget.
Adding to the complexity was the five-tiered recruitment process, including a demanding task that took candidates roughly 8 hours to finish. Even under these rigorous conditions and intricate procedures, we worked in unison with our client to handle the process in the most productive and cost-effective way.
Our capacity to make the job proposal enticing was significantly curtailed. However, the offer of 100% remote work was a considerable plus. As a result, we chose to extend our search beyond Poland to other Central and Eastern European nations.
Over a period of about six months, we suggested roughly 30 candidates. From there, the perfect fit – our elusive 'needle in a haystack’ – was found in Latvia. Given the intricacies of the task, finding the ideal candidate represented a major accomplishment and stands as one of our most challenging recruitment feats to date.
