Enablement services sit within Engineering Foundation and as part of the wider WPB. We provide the foundation platforms for the engineering teams within WPB. You will be joining the ‘Path To Live’ team, an exciting new small team responsible for enabling other engineering software teams to deliver fast whilst meeting regulatory controls – bringing down barriers to delivery through automation and making it easier to do the right thing, quickly and safely.

Responsibilities
- As a front-end developer, you'll be embedded in a team responsible for product and related services that form part of an automated end-to-end software delivery framework.
- You will design and implement user interfaces for our customers to interact with our back-end services
- You will be work alongside other team members that are focusing on server-side functionality, as well as cross functional digital teams to ensure our services continually evolve to meet their needs
- You will be at the forefront of bringing new technologies into the Bank and helping to change processes to support an agile value-driven way of working. As these services are live bank critical services it will also involve aspects of both production and development support in a DevOps model.
- The role will be hybrid with flexible remote working available. Some travel (including international travel) may be required, for purposes of planning, workshops and customer engagement.
Requirements
- Proven track-record in designing and implementing UI (any portfolio or examples you can provide will be highly beneficial).
- Experience in UX best practices
- Experience of AWS, particularly in an enterprise environment.
- A strong understanding of the challenges around and approaches to realising an agile continuous delivery engineering organisation, across people and process as well as tools and technologies.
- 5+ years dedicated front end experience.
- VueJS, React, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, Wireframing,
- Git (particularly GitHub)
- Responsive design
- Open and collaborative – much of the work we do involves working closely with customers, partners and vendors.
- Outcome and customer focused, with other engineering teams.
- Prepared to challenge the status quo and always be pushing for smarter ways of working.
