Description
The company is a pioneering digital transformation partner in the built environment, bringing together construction, engineering, and design expertise with cutting-edge technology to drive smarter, more sustainable projects. From digital delivery-like BIM, VDC, and digital twin platforms-to custom AI-powered software solutions (Precogs, Voyager) and strategic consulting, we help clients optimize workflows, reduce risk, and achieve measurable business outcomes across sectors like healthcare, aviation, commercial, and infrastructure
We’re looking for an Full-stack Engineer who will be more focused on Back-end but willing to work on Front-end as well. There will be more new features development, however you should be also open to maintenance work.
Do you thrive on mastering new technologies quickly, building fast, and proving real business impact with what you create? If so, this role could be the right next step for you. We’re launching the Strategic AI Innovation Lab, and you’ll be a critical engineering hire. You’ll rapidly build and test MVPs that prove how emerging technologies can create measurable business outcomes. From internal tools that improve performance to external client-facing solutions, your work will directly shape which innovations scale across the company.
Given the cross-team collaboration with our U.S. strategy and engineering groups, this role requires working hours that significantly overlap with US central time (at least 9am–2pm CT daily-> 16:00-21:00 polish time zone ; more overlap preferred).
Why this is a career move:
- Purpose: Build the foundation of our Innovation Lab and lead the experiments that will define the future of AI-driven business impact.
- Growth: Operate as both hands-on builder and process architect, delivering MVPs while establishing the lab’s playbook for scaling innovation.
- Motivators: Autonomy, speed, freedom to use the newest AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Lovable, etc.), and direct visibility with senior strategy leadership.
Recruitment process:
- Interview with Strategy Lead AI/tech (US)
- Second interview with Team Leader (Poland)
- Third interview with another person from Tech team
The interviews will be just regular conversations online with a mix of questions about technical skills and soft skills. No preparation needed beforehand from the candidates is needed – these won’t be „exams” where we’d like to hear answers to some technical questions. We want to hear about candidate’s experiences and their opinions on software development, coding and tech overall.
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and deliver at least 12 MVPs in your first year, proving or disproving critical business hypotheses.
- Extend successful MVPs into scalable prototypes or handoff-ready solutions for production teams.
- Independently identify, learn, and apply new technologies at speed to deliver results.
- Leverage the latest AI and automation tools to maximize speed, quality, and impact.
- Establish lightweight processes and documentation that make MVP development repeatable.
- Operate with autonomy in a fast-paced, resource-lean, experimental environment.
Requirements
- Backgrounds That Fit: Full-stack developers, senior software engineers, product engineers with broad technology exposure and at least 5 years of experience. Back-end engineers may fit. ML-only or frontend-only specialists are less suitable.
- Core Experience: Delivered MVPs or prototypes that created measurable business outcomes; extended MVPs into product-ready or scalable solutions.
- Technical Skills: Multi-language exposure (C#, Java, C++, plus Python, APIs, cloud platforms, data pipelines) with proven use of generative AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Lovable, etc.) to accelerate delivery. Front-end: Angular, React or any other modern framework.
Exposure to a primary language (say C# or Java) and a secondary language (say Python or other) is sufficient (we do want to see some familiarity with at least 2 programming languages). The important part is if we get someone who’s only familiar with say C# and C++, you should be willing and able to quickly pick up Python as needed (or to dive into the details of researching various APIs, etc.) - DevOps: Comfortable with creating, configuring, and optimizing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support MVP scalability.
- Career Signals: 1–3 years in current role, 2–5 years tenure in employer history, track record of growth or expanding scope of projects.
- Mindset: Extreme learning agility, bias for action, thrives with limited resources, motivated by autonomy and visible impact.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written 🇬🇧.
- Time Zone Alignment: Flexibility to align working hours with U.S. Central Time Zone to ensure real-time collaboration with leadership and peers.
- Learning agility — You’re eager and quick to pick up new tools and approaches. We don’t expect you to know everything upfront, but we expect you to learn fast and independently.
- Flexibility — You understand there’s no single “right” way to do things. If you insist on industry standards or best practices as the only way forward, this won’t be the place for you. We value outcomes over dogma.
- Pragmatism — You focus on delivering results in real-world conditions — with the tools, time, and constraints available. Progress over perfection.
- 🇵🇱 Polish work authorization is required.
