About the project:
The department is responsible for building and supporting the IT systems that are used within Compliance/FCTM. The current Compliance IT architecture is based on a large on premise Hadoop cluster for data management and analytics and we are going to implement an entire new platform.
The Company (including Compliance IT) has started a very ambitious program of work to aggressively migrate data & analytics onto Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Ali Cloud, as well as a strong push towards DevOps and Automation (Speed of Work). This role is needed to support the move to GCP/Ali Cloud and the adoption of DevOps and Automation.
Our team is based across Poland, UK, China and India.
Analytic team is a sub-function of the department with the responsibility of query, analyzing and investigating financial crime risk proactively, effectively and efficiently, and ensure proper mitigation of these risks within the company.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Liaise with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service’s direction.
- Provide support to DevOps teams working at all stages of a product or service release/change with a strong customer focus and end to end journeys, ensuring they have an excellent domain knowledge.
- Working with PO, Developers and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release / change.
- Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
- Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable.
- Design and implement GCP components and framework, provide service for compliance analytics users.
- Maintenance of the framework/GCP architecture to support automated build, release and IT controls.
- Work with Global team members to make sure GCP services/components are working properly.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge on Google Cloud Platform – Must be enough to handle challenges and build apps on GCP independently.
- Experience using Kubernetes
- Experience using Unix and Shell scripting
- RHEL 7.x administration
- Bash/shell scripting
- Python development / JupyterHub
- Hadoop/Spark
- Automation toolset (Airflow, Terraform, Ansible or Saltstack),
- Software engineering best practices including: continuous integration (using Jenkins) and continuous deployment
- Experience using GIT, Jira, Gradle, Jenkins and Ansible
- Familiar with Linux system operations and can write bash script independently
- Some knowledge of cloud architecture & services (preferably GCP).
- Agile development principles (Scrum, Kanban, MVP).
- Familiar with project management and comprehension tool such as Maven and Gradle
- Understand the methodology of CI, CD and DevOps.
- Candidate should hold a university graduate certificate majored in IT or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experienced in IT organization with Agile / Scrum environment and software engineering lifecycle or agile methodology
- Proactive, self-motivated, open-minded, reliable, independent and willing to pay effort in contributing to the team
- English communication
- (nice to have) Hadoop platform, Hive/SparkSQL, Ansible/Jenkins, Big data cluster environment, GCP certified, ML knowledge
