Description
The primary focus of this role is to cultivate trust between shippers and carriers within our marketplace. As a Senior Product Designer, you will work collaboratively with a team of engineers and product managers in a fast-paced, data-oriented environment.
This position requires a lean product development mindset and excellent problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions that align with our product vision and business goals.
In your portfolio, please include the project/product and its objectives, the problem(s) it solved, your role in the project and the design process you followed.
Recruitment Process:

Responsibilities
- Your primary job responsibility is to help establish trust between carriers and shippers. Everything you do should contribute to this goal.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers and their problems.
- Conducting and implementing design experiments, learn from them, and improve the user experience based on the findings.
- Conduct customer interviews, build prototypes, conduct user testing, and iterate based on feedback.
- Collaborate closely with your team, including the product manager and engineers, to develop and deliver innovative design solutions that solve customer problems and drive key metrics for your team.
- Work through design problems from beginning to end.
Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of experience as a product designer
- Have 4+ years of experience in designing digital products and systems, not just websites. You have helped ship products.
- Strong portfolio of product design work, illustrating multiple successfully launched products.
- Experience with improving the UX of existing products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you are a great writer, speaker, and listener - you have the ability to clearly articulate the story of the problem you’re solving and the vision you’re going after.
