Project Description
Global Traded Risk Transformation Testers are at the center of how Global Traded Risk Transformation shapes, delivers and embeds change working with the Traded Risk Business, Traded Risk Transformation, Global Risk IT and our delivery partners in Global Businesses and Global Functions.
Traded Risk has a Test Team that manages and executes testing for Traded Risk systems related changes before the changes are delivered into Production systems. The Test Team works closely with the Business, IT and Projects Team to support multiple systems initiatives.
The Test Team is responsible for managing and executing the testing activities within one or more of the priority projects & programs within Traded Risk’s Transformation portfolio. The Test Team supports the Requirements Analysis, Test Planning, Design, Testing and Implementation activities throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
Testers often act as experts across multiple projects and programs simultaneously guiding the teams on their approach to Test Management and other testing activities. Testers oversee Change & Implementation Management activities spanning from early change planning through to testing changes to ensure they are ready to be adopted, and, implemented into Production. Alongside project delivery responsibilities, the Test Team works closely with the Project Managers, Business Analysts, Process Consultants and Developers to ensure test resources are utilised effectively across the numerous change project demands.

Responsibilities
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of all the Traded Risk applications
- Apply this understanding to develop robust testing approaches & materials
- Analyze requirements and conditions and prepare Test Scenarios, Test Conditions, Scripts, Test estimates and test plans. Perform testing analysis to ensure that all business requirements are met and suitable test processes are in place to verify and validate the delivered solutions meet the business requirements
- Create/Update/Modify Test Data to meet Test conditions to perform tests in Test Environment
- Define and plan test coverage & prioritize testing using understanding of the business impact, i.e. Risk-based testing approach
- Execute test scripts with agreed entry and exit criteria
- Report the test results & defects
- Use standard defect management tools efficiently and effectively
- Support other teams or team members of the Project management team and project stakeholders in the Testing phase of the project
- Assist in Test Strategy, Test stage plans and Test Sign-off reports
- Provide testing related Inputs to Release notes where applicable
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Test Analyst and automation skill; preferrably within a Change role
- Good understanding of Traded Risk or other Risk functions
- Experience in Database testing, SQL, Unix, automation tool and any OOO program will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of software testing and defect management tools (Application Lifecycle Management/Quality Center)
- Experience of working within at least two of the following areas: Programme support, Functional Testing analysis / execution, process automation, business and / or system process analysis within Risk
- Must be able to produce high quality documentation and liaise with user communities and management teams
- Must exhibit extremely professional demeanor and must be comfortable working at multiple levels in an organisation
- Must have excellent attention to detail, be able to work within tight deadlines and within high pressure environment
- Ability to problem solve & clearly articulate requirements and implement and drive solutions
- Experienced in working with global virtual teams
- Good progress reporting skills
- Testing certification(s) (Certified Software Tester (CSTE), Certified Software Testing Professional (CSTP), ISTQB Certified Tester etc.)(D) – Optional [nice to have]
- Ideally educated to Bachelor’s degree level in a numerate subject [nice to have]
