You will be responsible for taking up DevOps engineering activities within Data management Platform.

Responsibilities
- Creating and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Designing and implementing DevOps pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Infrastructure automation.
Developing automation scripts using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python to implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles. - Containerization and orchestration.
Building, configuring, and managing containers with Docker and orchestrating clusters using Kubernetes. - Version control management.
Implementing and maintaining DevOps practices like Git Flow or GitHub Flow to ensure effective version control processes. - Supporting application teams and Agile collaboration.
Working closely with application teams in an Agile environment to build integrated DevOps processes within project PODs - Infrastructure monitoring and optimization.
Analyzing and optimizing infrastructure for performance and high availability in high-load environments (e.g., proxies/reverse-proxies). - Cloud and Big Data solutions deployment.
Implementing cloud-based solutions (BigQuery, DataFlow) and supporting services related to AI and machine learning. - Risk management and security.
Identifying and mitigating risks associated with DevOps processes while ensuring a secure environment for applications and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Docker

- Jenkins pipelines (bash, groovy) within GCP
- DevOps practices (Git, Git Flow and/or GitHub Flow)
- Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)

- [nice to have] Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field.
- [nice to have] 3+ years of experience in system/ infrastructure design, operations.
- [nice to have] Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and techniques
- [nice to have] 2+ years of knowledge of programming languages: (e.g. Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, Scala)
- [nice to have] Technical knowledge and breadth of technology services (Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Containers, Databases, Analytics, AI & Machine learning, BigQuery, DataFlow)
- [nice to have] Automation scripting (using scripting languages such as Terraform, Ansible etc.)
- [nice to have] Works collaboratively in an agile environment with DevOps application PODs
- [nice to have] Customer/stakeholder focus. Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams,
